ah it wernt coming off atall! i was at it for ages!! the polybushes have tightened it up alot and the most noticable change is the f13cr gearbox! i love it! i think ill leave the exterior the way it is now im happy with it just tidy up afew things like get original vinyls and theres a smal paint crack on the drivers front arch!

Why didn't you paint the engine bay the same colour as the car?

Hmm, what have you done with the wiring in that pic? Lol, its completely straight forward.

Liking the car, wheels are cool.
I agree that the bay should of been white tho, black just looks like its done to hide bad bits.

i painted it black the last time i changed the engines. it used to be white but i cudnt keep it clean as it was only hammerite. the car used to be red you see! theres no bad bits tho mines and opel shell and doesnt have the same fate as vauxs!:p the wiring wernt straight forward as i thought as my loom was a complete engine and car loom. i wanted to seperate it and get rid of the old ecu and things. also the astras c16se loom comes through on the drivers side so i had to take the engine-to-car wires out of the car loom and join them over by the fuse box!

might paint it if im painting the car again but i kind of like it as when the bonnets up it doesnt draw too much attention as the guards here are cnuts!
