alright, going to be getting a new exhuast system fitted when the car finally goes on the road and once the tb's are fitted, only a can't decide what to go for, thinking of...

Same as it is just now (6x3 oval type) in the centre
VXR tailpipe in the centre directly below bumper (or raised a bit and cut out in the bumper)
twin 3" outward rolled in the centre directly below bumper
single 3" outward rolled at the passenger side (standard location)
single 3" outward rolled at the drivers side

or any other recommendation? (ps, the trim thing is going in the bin! its hiding a hole from a previous owners tailpipe)

4" rolled in or outward rolled down the center. 4" looks a better size imo, i never liked my old 3" tip

If you want subtle, 3" inward rolled. Maybe two 3", one either side, although plumb them up so they both work properly lol

Is that 185 yours?

VXR style cut in to the bumper. You could make this into a poll btw :thumb:

EDIT: no you can't, your not a member

2nd EDIT: scrap the VXR thing, I just shop'd it into the bumper and it looks gash

Here's what 3" inwardly rolled round centre exit looks like.

i quite like the one that on it at the mo. maybe if it was moved up an inch or two with a neat cut out in the bumper it would look even better?

i also like the idea of a drivers side exhaust. looking at the car, gsi kit/speedlines combo its quite subtle. so a normal 3inch pipe would suit it. putting it on the drivers side is a mod that 99% of people wouldnt even notice at first which in my book makes it cool :thumb:

you'd have to lose the towing eye though (has anyone actually towed anything with a nova?!!)

Its mainly used for pulling Novas out of hedges and ditches:thumb:

true!

i hedged one of mine a couple of years back. the low loader came to fish it out and attached his line to my toe eye. a quick tug and bingo.....pulled the toe eye clean off!

he ended up wrapping it round the rear beam to pull me out, think it was the only bit that wasnt rusty as feck lol
