Thinking of changing my engine over to either corsa GSI 1.6 16V (C16XE) or would i save all lot of hassle if i put in the original 1.6 8V.:confused:
(Cant do red top....would end up killing myself not even going to bother pretending:roll: )

1.6 8v is easyer but if you speak to (long live the nova) he has a 1.6 16v fitted in his, he could guid you thought the convertion. i hope this can help you mate, but as i say the 1.6 8v are easyer to fit and quite tuneable to. :thumb:

i think the 1.6 16v (c16xe) are the same as a redtop to fit ;).
you would only kill yourself in a redtop nov, if you wasto drive it like you play the playstation lol. your in controll, it can only go as fast as your making it go. although i would say thay arn't for the faint harted:D

Nope, baby valvers bolt straight in, and theres no driveshaft issues, unlike a proper engine lol

i dont know TBH,
they both cost about ?200 now lol
Id go 16v everyday, better engine.
And prices aren't too different.
Ive seen 16xe's for sale for ?150.
