hey i no ive asked a few times but are 22spline shafts what my 1.2 shafts are or are they diffrent because i have done a engine convertion and my car redy but shafts are drivin me mad plz can someone help

Take the CV's off and count the splines yourself, but 1.2 ones are unlikely to be 22 spline ones.

1.2 shafts will be 28 spline. You will need GTE/early GSi or TD ones.

ok kool i have a set of corsa ones which are 22spline but wont fit in to my hubs how do i get round this one ??

Corsa shafts are too long.

As above.

Also Corsa GSi ones are 22 spline both ends anyway. Nova ones are 22 spline one end and 28 the other for the ones you need.

Just get some proper 2L shafts! lol

Peanuts nowadays. I remember when you had to pay ?350+ for a set....

when i done the conversion courtenay tried to sell me some tappered shafts for ?550 + postage !!!!!! (sh1t showing my age!!)

but gte ones are more than adequate for an xe and shouldnt cost more than ?50, id hardly call the amount custom ones for peanuts compared with that!

They are adequate, I am not saying that, I know a few that have lasted on C20LETS for years!

PLUS the CVs are ?80 a pair, PLUS you have the danger that some muppet sells you some Gsi shafts 'by accident'

I know what I would rather buy. You can get them for about ?100 now with everything (second hand)
