fuel pump (c20let)

hello just wired up my fuel pump relay how do i get it to come one with the ign at the moment i wired thin Red/blue to fuel pump and ign live the black wire to the pump to. it starts but wen i go to swich the ign of it stays on with out a key ?:confused: i take it its got to be the black wire making it stay on ?

The ONLY wire that you connect to the pump is the red/blue from the relay.
And an earth which it already has if it was previously an injected engine.

cheers i did try that and fuel pump didin come on thats why i thought mite of needed and ign live to it

The ecu switches the relay, which supplys 12v to the red/blue wire to turn the pump on.

take the black off NOW!!!!!! thats a switched live lol
