Brummmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Even though it was on a random 1.6 map, she fired up on teh first turn of the key!! AND IDLED! :) my 1600 wouldnt even do that!lol

Revved nice and cleanly (only up to 2500- dont wanna risk it on the map) and it seems lovely and crisp.

Some random pics...

Here is my Toovey sump that I had made, cos the winged one didnt fit!

...and in my case very rare! lol

Unfortunately wont make Llandow, but I dont want to rush through the last few jobs... exhaust, oil cooler and of course the mapping session!

Booked in for the 25th! :thumb:

Nice one.
Who's doing the mapping?

Will F

I am going to Mech Motorsport as they are reasonably local and seem to know what they are doing!

What sort of prices do they charge?

Stuart

iirc the "usual"... my mate took his 309 rally car for mapping there and cost about 50-60 per hour.

For a full day its ?350 or there abouts.

He does a lot of rally applications, so he must be OK!

Not a bad price for a full day.

Engine conversion looking really good - The C20XE conversion should be pretty bomb proof compared with trying to extract big powwer from a 16XE (Awaits outcry from all the 16XE owners - LOL)

Just one quick question - I realise the cambelt 'infill cover' is made by Toovey - what sort of price are we talking

Cheers

Doubt there'll be an outcry from that comment TBH, what with all the big X16 guns such as Oli, Lee H and Will spreading engine components around the countryside lol

Oli's the only one left to see the light lol

Engine is built by John Toovey mate. I dont have the price for the individual cover, but he is a reasonable bloke, so cant see why you couldnt just call up and ask! :)
