GTE Brakes :-/

I recently bought a Nova SR which already had Astra GTE brakes fitted. Unfortunatly there pants. Surely they must be better than what they are. There shit. The pads nor discs are worn. Please help

Astras have bigger dia pistons in the calipers, so need more fluid to get you stopping. stick a master cylinder off an astra gte/Cavalier sri on. check the pressure limiting valve ratios (3/35 or 3/45) if they are different to your old ones, stick the old ones on. Bleed your old fluid out, and fill with dot5. then adjust up your rear brakes. stuff what vauxhall say, the self adjusters don't work very well. you should now stop.....
