hi there
i have got a nova with a c20xe engine late spec.
its seems that the car is over fuelling.
it began just after i had steam cleaned the engine bay. the car struglled to start but when i did get it going it idled high when i revved it the car would cut out.
When i disconect the fuel pump whilst running it idled and revved normal (untill its starved of fuel) but as soon as i connect the pump again it over revs.

any advice??
im going to do a ECU test in a bit but is this a common thing?

If you steam cleaned it there is bound to be some water in there somewhere... I am assuming you have the DIS type if its the 'late spec'?

If so, the possibilities are less.. (no dissy!)

Just check to see which cylinder isnt firing correctly (check plugs etc) then take it from there...

Prob just moisture in there somewhere
