View Full Version : Stretched Tyres
Hello everybody..
ive got some 7.5(ithink)x14" rims and would like to get some tyres stretched on them to see if they could pull of the euro look..
any idea on tyre sizes thats would "stretch"?

I would suggest perhaps using 185 50 14s as they come in a variety of flavours! I've found 185 section tyres to grip well enough and afaik, provides ample resistance to aquaplaning over a wider tyre of the same sort. If this isn't stretched enough, give 165 55 14 tyres a go, although tyre choice is limited (and most tend to be ditch seekers). Try typing in different sizes into mytyres.co.uk to see if they exist and to compare prices.
cheers folks, wil pop down to my mates tyre shop see what hes got in that i can try on..
sounds far far far too dangerous for my liking.
