clocks n dash

i cant get the clocks out of my f-reg sr (crashed), i want to swap them with the shitty ones in my d-reg sr. i would like to change the hole dash over (my d-reg one is a nice shade of poo brown) but i bet it's a proper pain in the arse to do, let alone changing it for a mk.2 one. any advice? oh yeah, i cant even get the bloody steering wheel off (my f-reg), and i can hardly take it to a vaux garage.

if the dash is undamaged, push the top of the clocks inwards, this should loosen them. Get your fingers around the back and pull it out a bit. You can then undo the speedo cable clip and the block connector. it will come out without taking off the wheel.

changing the dash is easy just get a good coffee jar to keep all of the screws in. strip everything off the dash and then unscrew the whole dash panel. check out the replies to the other enquiry on steering wheel removal.
