today we rang some scouser up to tell him we had his car in as it was stolen and to let him know he could come and get it.

anyway he turned up and started to mouth off.. saying youve had my car for 2 f*ckin weeks and youve not f*ckin rung me because you want more money on starage etc.. then he started avin ago at all of us because for some reason it was our fault we hadnt rang him

anyway.. it reminded me off people on here who have said theyve landed me with all the charges even tho theyve had it in a week and not told me

its not our fault that we cant ring you.. its the police.. we dont know who ownes it and the police force are slow as funk.. they couldnt give a s*it about us or you... so next time your cars found dont nouth off at the depot.. otherwise youll end up getting nicked like today

anyway rant over :mad::mad::mad:

If you were proper "car recovery company" you'd get onto the DVLA straight away to inform the owner, instead of waiting for the police, which I'm sure to be honest have far more important things to be doing like....saving people's lives?!
Therefore saving yourself the hassle of customers like him, who has every reason to be p!ssed off in my opinion! I'm sure he'd rather pay the ?5 (i think) you've had to pay to the DVLA and a couple of days storage, rather then a couple of weeks because you couldn't be bothered.

And as Phil said, welcome to working life!

but what if we ask dvla and it costs us a fiver.. then it ends up the registered owner isnt the owner any more or that the owner says he aint payin that? wed go bust within a week.. and it would take agees.. we do about 20 cars a day and were not paying 100 quid a day just to find out who ownes a s*itty old metro

Why would the DVLA have the wrong information? As far as the law is concerned, the registered owner IS the owner of the vehicle! Where do you think the police get the information from?!

And besides, if the owner then says he doesn't want it, bingo, you got a few hundred Kg's of scrap you can weigh in, thus making profit

lol -

Try working in car insurance and getting an ear full from some prick whos narked off because you wont give him a quote because hes been banned for drink driving whilst on a provisional license!

You know - somedays i wish we would have a "say what you feel" day - like a dress down day -

customer - "I wanna speak to your manager - I dont like your attitude"
CS Agent - "you dont like my attitude - well fcuk you mother fcuker!"

Or the best one I heard at British Gas-
customer - "see you - I know where you work"
CS Agent - "yeah - well I know where you live!"

Next day his gas suddenly goes off and an electronic meter is fitted!

lol
