Just below my passenger door on the body work, about 6" to the left of that little indent line on the B pillar, I have a crack. After picking at it I discovered a 1 inch wide hole running from the top to bottom stuffed with fibreglass resin. It looks totally solid and it appears just the body filler skinn has cracked but I'm a little concerned. Had car 5 years n never seen this afore. Looks like it had a rusty hole, been treated n patched up.
Is this the sill (its the outer skin, inner bit looks fine) Do I need a new sill? Can it be welded? or is the patch ok. Thehole is just on the outer panel below the door - metal seems to be 1mm or so thick in that area. There is no warping, door closes fine etc...
