Can someone recommend me a decent Rolling Road company that wont tell you to **** off when you mention R1 carbs, or one thats not in Leeds.

Sod that, not doing that again, done it with my Cav V6 a trailer, nova on the trailer, at an average of 17mpg and started at 2.30am. God that was a long haul. They did it the first time but never got a proper reading as they couldnt hold it down. Its was set on rollers, but would like it done again and get some figures, see what sort of animal i have.

There's motoscope in Northallerton which isn't too far mate.
Never used them but heard good things.

I've got Aprils PPC mag to hand and read their rolling road directory earlier today! For the south, they have:

Clifford Cox Engine Services in Reading 0118 9677799

BTW Saloony, do you know the scrapyard on the A334 between Cudridge and Shedfield which is near the Vineyard place mate? It looked like quite a big place and I need bits for my merc!

why do places tell you to feck of when you say you have carbs? cant see why 99% of places would have a problem holding down an xe with carbs?

Its because if they require tweeking they not the easiest of thing to get too and you cant plug a computer into something with no management. Truthfully it should be spot on.

Cheers Danny thats a good help, Silverlake garages, and yeah very big although i think you'll be hard pushed to find an old merc in there, although you could be gently surprised.
