I need more weight reduction

In the bid to save weight, i'm looking at carbon fibre or similar bonnets and also a bootlid. Where is best to source/price parts such as these?

They dont exist, OK some chavvy carbon bonnet skins might, but you are thinking of fibreglass bonnets & tailgates.

Some carbon doors have been produced in the past. Not cheap & a bad panel fit results.

if you dins a carbonfibre specialist you might get them to tailor make the bonney for you, but it would cost!

that's great thanks guys, I have some feedback from eurorallye who's fibreglass bonnets weigh in at 5kgfor he bonnet and 4kg fo the boot.

Does anyone know what that standard bonnet and bootlid weight in at?

sorry mate, it's been setup for rallying but will be used for tracks, and a bit of road action

What have you removed from inside the car? All un-used brackets, sound deading (including the tar ****e), cut the doors out or even get carbon/fibreglass doors, box section behind the dash (if your not using one), remove the firewall in the engine bay, if youve got a decent cage you could use a fibreglass roof and remove the box section that runs across the floorpan, remove spare wheel well and replace with ali-sheet. Sure theres some more stuff iv done but its a start. lol

There's a bit i can take out, was thinking about rounf the doors etc.

The dash, firewall, centre section on the floorplan etc, are these particularly worth while?

I've still got carpets from the front seats forward haha

I dont know if this will be any of use to you but look at the 2ltr project on my bebo. you will see inside the car where ive started to take all the bits out. including the dash. and the fire wall has been taken out so it might give you an idea.
