nothing on there site (http://www.nortech-motorsport.com/)

Just wondering tho, the chargecooler, do the two pipes go into the water/heater system of the car, or to some form of intercooler?

Must have some sort of big bonnet bulge as well...

Apparently the turbo you see in the pic is a small one they fitted after knackering a big one on the Sat night before TOTB whilst mapping it.

The van has been on the scene for years. I remember it being an XE powered ICE demo van years ago then it changed hands a few times & is regularly seen on the drag strip now. B16 NOB is the reg no. Its on 17" 5 stud Alessio's.

Ideally it will have its own independent cooling system with a heat exchanger at the front of the car, also should have a large vent above it to allow hot air to vent away from it.

Always wondered about putting a CC on a LET instead of a FMIC.

Charge coolers have arguments as to why they are better than IC's, but usually for different purposes. Courtenay used to switch to CC's on LETs years ago on conversions, mainly for space issues.

Saw it @ TOTB a couple of weeks ago..

Must be running some pretty serious power, IIRC it was just spinning in 3rd

It does go well, but at TOTB the time's weren't that good considering it's meant to have silly BHP..

the lad that owns the van now lives about a 5min drive from my house hes called adam (otherwise known as nobby).its running at around 511bhp + nos he said the last time i was talking to him.the inlet came off of a nissan skyline im lead to beleve too.he also has a corsa c with a z20let and he did have a fiat punto with a 20v turbo out of a fiat coupe.

I dont think its properly mapped & it had a smaller turbo on the Sunday at TOTB.

Isn't a Skyline a 6 pot though?

Sure the inlet is one that Beardy on Migweb is making.

^that's what I thought. I think Beardy's is a 200SX manifold

It didnt cross anyones mind that its a modded skyline plenum.....?

Or that the guess is entirely wrong & its got the multi throttle inlet from another Nissan?

The Pulsar GTI-R

Some were a 1.8 4 cylinder.

I'd have thought there'd be less room for a CC than a intercooler

Yea, but from memory the 6 cyl skyline manifold is quite short, as the block isn't that long, meaning the port would be to close together, so you'ld have to extend the manifold with something....

The Pulsar and 200SX engines are the same I have been told.

Pulsar GTi-R is a 4pot, with a plenum and multi throttles.
A very good plenum infact.

Various engines in the 200SX's, But the SR20DET is different to the Pulsar lump.

As explained, the GTi-R comes with a Plenum and Multi throttle bodies, where as the 200SX is a standard Fuel Rail/Injector setup.

ROFLMFMO the inlet has never seen a skyline or a pulsar. The inlet is one of beardys off migweb and vauxsport.
