ive bought an xe corsa started off as a 1 ltr envoy its got all the proper conversion kit engine runs sweet sounds lovely but it feels under powered
its really responsive on the throttle but it seems to lack after about 3500 revs an it really struggles after 80mph not like any of the xe's ive had before

i think the people that fitted the engine left the 1 ltr fuel pump in there ive bn under the car and threres no fuel pump there so i dont know the fuel pump runnin the car at the minute is the one fitted in the tank

anyone got any ideas im stumped

cant really help but i know of two xe's that are similar, i fitted both the engines but there isnt much you can go wrong with, both feel really underpowered and one splutters alot. I have checked things like timing and wiring but dont know what it is as all my own xe's and turbo engine have run spot on and feel way quicker

air flow meter, it fixed mine, dont forget it is a orsa and they do weigh more to novas, if that what youve had before, fuel pump mite be behind bulk head, uner scuttle panel

Pump would be under the rear seat, if car was a 1.0 12v the pump would be fine for an XE.

pumps are in tank i think. lift the back seats and pull the pump. if its a smallish black/creme plastic pump its the corsa pump. if so replace it with a mpi astra in tank one. theres creme with a shiny metal casing.!

youd have to check the number on the back of the air flow meter quite a long number like 03404506474 along those lines anyway! if the metal flow meters and plastic flow meter engine are different! connection different, give it a service change plugs! maybe dizzy or gel pak wateva model yours is!

Calibra turbo AFM is much bigger diameter so it won't fit.
