my car wasnt even turning over when u turn key it was dead but i hit the starter and it started so i assume it was sticking it seems ok but if it keeps doing it can it be fixed or do i have to get a new 1?

its not the starter itself its the smaller bit attached to it not engaging, usually easier to get a new starter unit complete and easier to swop over!
