Help needed!

I really need to prove my muppet of a dad wrong. he reckons that the normal 1.3 nova is exactly the same as the 1.3sr version, the only difference being that the sr has a close ratio gearbox and sporty looks. i reckon this is bullshit so tell me what are the differences so i can prove the fat twat wrong! cheers

if you look in the haynes manual there is no mention of any differences in a 1.3 engine or gearbox, they are all the same

as far as I know, the sr has a lower diff ratio, nicer wheels and trim levels. but the engine is the same, sorry.

engine is the same 1.3 8v SOHC you would find in any other 1.3 non-SR nova. your dad is gonna have a field day with u now. i say you think up some witty comebacks sharpish :D

as i said clearly, on the 1.3 the gearbox's r the same!!!!!

but yes there is a differnce on the 1.4sr compared to 1.4i
