Thought i'ld post some pictures up. Most on Mig/Vauxsport will know it. It started out as a cheap trackday car project, and is now a cheap fast TOTB car that will still be used at trackdays!lol
So it started under a year ago.

My PB 1/4 is now 12.4 which was at Elvington. At PV my rear mount was bent so I was doing a 1st,2nd then 4th gear change, as I couldn't get 3rd :roll: Even on my 12.4 I found 3rd difficult, I'm going for internal cav/astra selector and a rose jointed linkage. I'm aiming for an 11 1/4 (before it was built a 13 would of kept me happy!

Some bloody excellent times there mate, what shot of Gas are you running to achieve those times?

Shot of gas =125bhp.
I'm still running a map not designed for my engine too. As I say I want 11's now. Also was using Indysports. Going to go for BF goodrich Drag things.

I hear that Rob Lee bloke tried it on with him, turned out he wasn't a raging homo infact it was quite the opposite and Rob Lee got upset lol

Welcome back fly, Cars looking good as ever and the times achieved are fantastic, lets hope you get your goal and prove the cars true potential when all is set up :thumb:

Word up Spanish. Car was impressive at TOTB, nice to hear a N/A car there, even if it did have laughing gas ;) Think there was only you and one or two others that weren't Forced Induction!

Nice one Oli. Was good to see ya for a bit. I was defo the only N/A car in the top 10. Possibly top 15 (out of 17) TBH Only knew what my competitors were running, who also happened to be my team mates lol. Go team Vauxsport! Even the Elises had Superchargers lol.

hi rob; its too busy on mig to get a word in edgeways so take the chance to pat you on the back on here... lol
I followed ur project thread throughout and am amaized at the results - all done within a year; at the roadside!
@P.V i didn't shut up telling people that you built yours just like we try to build ours - no fancy workshop or 3,4 years taken and it looked and sounded awesome on the strip.
I think yours has taken the sprint/track look to another level with the graphics and other neat touches like the no. plates too.
An inspiration mate. The NOS & bodies is the combo for me now; hoping to see it onto my car in the future.

On the 1/4 It would do. Round the track would be interesting. Lee and Dars both have well set up cars. Round Coombe I KNOW they'll have me, they know it like the back of there hand:)

The handling circuit was poo, I never saw the times TBH. I burst a hose in the morning, had 30mins to either run a handling lap or a 1/4.. chose 2x 1/4's! TBH the circuit is more for big powered cars.

I think he meant that he'd like to see him whoop bigger spec cars like WE do. Not bigger spec cars like ours.
Especially as Spanish's car is geared for 1/4 mile, it would be a silly comment, therefore i think youve all mis read his post lol

Yea, I see that now:) F20 isn't the best geared for 1/4 but loads better than a SCCR (my plan is to fit one)
Nic car dude! Some seriously quick times too! seen this at billing, what exhaust does it run? iirc you had some mild steel 2" system??

It's a full ashley 2 1/4" system. It has a black tailpipe. It also won't fit the GTE bumper flick as it shouldlol It's not too loud came in at 93dB iirc.
Saw this at elvington, and was very impressed with the overall quality and look !
Great 1/4 time too, there were hardly any N/A cars running !
