16v convertion

I am curious as to what is involved in doing a 16v conversion on my 1.4i Nova Do I only need the head? I would I need a whole new lump? I know I needs to be from a 1995 Corsa/Astra thanks!

A 16V head physically goes straight on any 1.4 Nova block but you will need to change/acquire a shit load of other stuff. For a start the whole cambelt drive train needs to be changed to take the larger cam belt. You will need a 16V alternator and bottom pulley or similar, the wiring loom, all the sensors, an appropriate ECU, 16V zorst, 16V inlet and injection etc etc. You may end up finding that it is easier and cheaper to but a 1.4 16V complete but they take a bit of finding as they are popular for motorsport. Try Carquip on 01366 324318 for full options but it will be quite expensive
