View Full Version : Fao Owners of GSi clocks
Hmm, im sure a few of the bulbs on my gsi clocks no longer light up with the ignition on lol
Could anyone confirm exactly what i lights come on with the ignition?
I have ecu light, oil pressure and handbrake.
Im pretty sure this morning i had ecu, oil, handbrake, brake fluid and low battery charge/no charge bulb lol
Either that or im imagining things, lmao.
Ive swapped the bulbs over, and all the bulbs are fine.
Oil press may not light up if the car was used recently, and the oil is still above minimum pressure.
Handbrake and brake fluid are the same light lol
Battery light should come on though
Handbrake and brake fluid aren't the same lights ;) Brake fluid is next to the handbrake light.
The oil pressure lights up.
Just no battery light or low brake fluid light, which im 95% sure lit up this morning lol
thought handbrake and brake fluid was the (!) ... Wtf is the other one then?
Shows how much attention I pay lol
defo get the altenator/batt light working, else your battery wont charge
off the top of my head...
batt light
oil light
hand brake light
brake warning light
ecu light
defo get the altenator/batt light working, else your battery wont charge
Doesnt that only apply to MK1's with the mahoosive battery dash bulb. Not sure the MK2 needs the bulb to work to continue charging?
my mk2 had a bigger bulb that the rest too :S
Hmm, ive just done a few miles and the alternators charging fine
The charging gauge is where it always sits with the engine running.
Aye, so i definently have a few bulbs not lighting then, but why? the bulbs are fine
Maybe the dash earth/ignition live is dodgy(seeing as two bulbs have stopped working at the same time), as the wires are connected with bullet type connectors as i hacked the loom to fit a digidash a few months back,Lol.
Went out to the car this morning, and both lights are back on again  lol
