Just got some Sparco adjustable ones, how have you fixed them in?

Would it be better to fix them directly to the floor or to weld in some box section and bolt them to that?

Anyone got any pics/info that can help me please?

A piccy of what they look like would be good. The floor is too flexable ro mount them on. You really want a solid platform to work off. I have some rails like this.

The ones I have are the same as these:

Is that the best way? Only I want to add as least weight as possible.

box section best way! imagine you have a crash and you seat brackets are bolted through your 4mm tin floor! your gonna go straight out window! and you dont want your seat wobling! which is what it mite do!

Use the same method I did then Tom. Weld some braces across and then bolt the mounts to that. Its

4mm? a nova floor is 1mm max! lol
So definently dont bolt seats to it, you can flex the floor just by pushing down on it, Lol
Dars method seems the best option.

You found out then? How'd the patch go?

Go with Dar's method, it works and won't kill you in a crash.

What I was thinking was to weld in strengthening plates where the mounts would go, I wouldn't have just gone through the 1mm floorpan lol

Dar, thanks for the pics I think I will go with that method as it looks stronger than my idea.

Id do the Dar method.
If you have a decent enough welder to get a good weld on the box section/inner sill.
