What output does the TD nova alternator have as i am looking to upgrade my 50amp alternator on my 1.2i and want to know if this is any better and whether it will fit straight on.

bigger output = more load on the engine so you will "use" more power for the electrics rather than for the driving

yep my alternator is a 50amp one, but it still is not enough as i have so many gadgets + ice in my car when i am actually driving the heatlights + dashboard dim when i turn my sub on

you can get 55/65/70 amp ones one of an astra will do fine 1.2i should have a 45 one on
