F16 gearbox

Is it true a Daewoo Nibia 16v has the F16 gearbox and slots straight in as a F20 replacement on an XE?

Probably.
As daewoo used a lot of vaux parts.

Yep, it's true. And on the 1.4 16v engines (not sure about the 1.6) they come with a 4.18 final drive, although the actual gear ratios are long. We fitted one to a rally nova, but with the f20 ratios, and it goes like hell! lol
