Agree with Kinky, pole dancing is hard work. So probably more of a present for her as she'll be getting the work out! But then I suppose...she'll be more fitter...being able to do more thing....equalling a present for you!
They are easy to fit, I've fitted one with my mate in her room and if 3 girls can do it no problems I'm sure you can!

My girlfriend took pole dancing classes with a friend and they loved it so my g/f bought a pole. They were told the ebay ones weren't that good and the ones to get are from http://www.x-pole.co.uk/. Being a clever little sod, she put it up herself with the tools supplied, although its made small round marks in the ceiling where it pushes out (like a vertical threaded strut brace). Lucky its rented accomodation!
