My track rod ends are now shot noticed by my MOT inspector friend and plus they make clicking noises when going over large bumps.

Vaux have asked ?31 each for them. Seeing as I am gonna change them, is it possible to get uprated items or are they all gona be OE spec stuff?

The car is lowered which is why I'm asking.

Thanks muchly :thumb:

Nope, theres no uprated stuff.

Although i suggest you try your local autofactors for some QH equivelents, probably get them cheaper than Vaux.

?4.50? 'kin hell, good thing I didnt get them from Vaux.

Funny thing is my dad needs track rod ends for his Cav SRi and they are the same price as Nova ones.

What brand are they? QH? Just wanna know so when I go round to factors I can tell em I want the QH or whatever they are. the cheaper in price the better :D

Nice one lads

Just ask them for track rod ends. 9 times out of 10 they will be QH.

Undo the nut and take of fully then tap the side of the round bit with a hammer.

Yeah they are ?6 at my local factors.

I would soak the ends in Wd oir penetrating oil & then heat em up with a blow torch. Leave em to cool & then try removing them again.
