I have just bought a Sr1.4,mk2, a very nice car but i have a few problems, ie the oil guage is totally off the dial not working(im just saying i dont care if it works or not) im hoping to change the dash to digi anyway, but the main prob is the boot is totally out of shape as someone has crashed into it behinde the driver. it is all sorted apart from the boot, it hits the plate light when closing and also is almost 2inches out from the body of the car on the bottom passangers side, is there anyway i can straighten the boot or even fill the gap without getting a new boot? it rattles like hell. i would get a new boot but this one is the original and is 100% rust free, is it worth saving this one or buying a new one and spraying it?
