Engine Temp????

when i turn over the engine in my 1.2i it takes about 30 miles before the engine temp is even out of the red...
I it my thermostat coz its not the engine coz thats perfect

it may be ur thermostatic valve sticking open, so its sending water to ur radiator before its had chance to warm up, look in the haynes on howto replace it!!

i have the same problem on a 1.2 carb model..... i've just changed the thermostat and its still the same...takes ages to warm up....any ideas on what it cud be ?????

i had the same prob myself it turned out to be the temperature gauge sensor

hhmm, does the heating take ages to warm up, or just the guage, if its the heater aswell then its something mechanical, not a sensor
