will a 1.4 ohv head fit on a 1.2 ohv?

:confused: i have recently bought a k reg 1.2 ohv nova, i was wondering if it was possible to fit a 1.4 head on the 1.2 block? if so will there be anything to gain with a port polish and skim?

assuming that the K reg 1.2 is a single point injection engine then the head is identicle to the 1.4 item anyway,... and therefore poo

if you are after short term gains before an engine swap then dont bother

Oh ok then, im would be looking to do an engine swap at some point but it would have to be some thing fairly straight foreward. Any suggestions? possible 2 litre 8v??

Is yours a carbed or SPI model? fitting the equivelant 1.4 model would be the most straightforward, but for the hassle of changing the engine for an upgrade, you might aswell fit a 1.6MPI unit (E16SE/C16SE) and be done with it.
