hey guys just found out apex have gone out of business! bugger. its now going to have to be the spax vsx kit or a gmax kit. i heard gmax are sh1t is it true? are the spax good for the money? cheers

GMAX are very cheap really.

Some people praise them & the more serious modders who have usually moved on to more expensive kit, slate them.

Cheap/crap suspension is my pet hate & I can honestly say that from personal experience it is pretty poor stuff. When did you last see GMAX sponsoring a DTM or BTCC race car?

The opposite is true of H&R & Bilstein & other top branded reliable stuff.

KONI adjustables are a damn good place to start IMO.

I bought my van with a full Gmax kit on before upgrading to coilovers and I can't really criticise them tbh, nothing to rave about but I didn't have any problems.

There will be better kits to start with for a few extra quid though.
