Whats involved??? Are the looms the same?? Can i use the original 4 speed gearbox?? Can i use original driveshafts ect???

No, No, Yes.

You need a ohc 8v drivers side engine mount too(as the 1L one is different.
You also need to fit a carb tank with a fuel return pipe.

The coil will need a few wires connecting.

Don't let that put you off though, all fairly cheap parts if sourced second hand and all fairly easy to fit, you may even find a you could get a gearbox and engine together.

yeah the parts are well cheap, and fitting is pretty easy TBH, i done one last years and have since upgraded to 1.6 MPi

Ive got a pratically new SR tank here that is of no use to me? Complete with sender unit etc
