What engines were these carbs initially fitted to as i was thinking about fitting one to my 1400 sr. Are they autochoke or manual and will i need a new inlet manifold. Also what performance increases can i expect??

You will not need a new manifold but you will need an adaptor plate, its a manual choke, and yes they are fitted to XR2's.

Approximately #20 for the adaptor plate, and it will need rejetting. You will need other bits to fit the carb aswell, phone Demon Tweeks and they will tell you everything you need, it comes to about #40 in total.
