View Full Version : wiring loom used with twin carbs?

hi iv got a nova gsi which im putting twin carbs on obviously iv done away with the injection wiring loom but was just curious as to what i replace it with, i was going to use a standered wiring loom of a carb model nova is this correct? if it is an anyone has got one lying around let me know an i will buy it off you today, aslong as it aint north scotland lol im in coventry, cheers

Nothing.
Youve removed the injection loom, so that should leave you with the alternator/starter/oil pressure loom. Thats all's thats needed.
You may have to run a new wire for the coolant temp gauge, as i think thats with the engine loom on a gsi.

You will need a 1.4sr ignition setup, with its mini loom(3wires to connect)

thats what i was thinking, for the coil an so on dose any one have one lyin about?

hi andy, it might be cheaper to buy a complete 1.4sr for the ignition set up,

hint, take what you want, ill have the engine lol

lol iv been after a small block carb for months lol

just put nova engine into ebay, it only comes up with the std engine :roll:
