The top cambelt cover bolt snapped off in the head on my C20let. Its only a small bolt. Now i can't get the cam cover bolted on. How can i remove it?

That'll teach me to buy a new rocker and cam cover!lol

Do you mean Cam cover or plug cover ?

either way it sounds like you need a set of easy outs.

Where about are you from as you say South East

yeah easi-outs or stud removers as there known.

A left hand threaded tap that you wind in anti-clockwise & when they kinda bind or seize on the way in, start wind the stud out..... anti-clockwise.

Got the easy outs of ebay, spent two hours trying to unwind the bastid and the easy outs only just managed to made a little dent in the stud.:tard:

used an 18V cordless with and without hammer, what the f*ck am i doing wrong.

It would be easier backing out of a fat chick!

Hammmer? NO.

New set of drills & use a bit of cutting fluid/oil. Drill a small pilot hole & THEN use the easy outs.

Its not fun & might help you not snap any in the future.
