abit worried!!!!

rite with the xe in the nova and sitting on rims,the tie rod seems pretty close to gearbox.
i've cut the tab off it but when its sitting normal it is really close,about 20mm gap between each other.

is this rite?

May need to grind a small amount off the case, but drive it and see if it knocks.
