oright boys what exacly do i need to do a conversion and what sort of price am i looking at to do it tiddy ??

could someone do me a list would be great thanks

something to lower your drivers side engine mount with
22 spline shafts
cav inner cvs
gsi radiator
injection fuel lines
injection fuel tank
16valve brakes and calipers atleast
exhaust manifold
chassis plating kit if\you need it.
any other welding work that might need done.
coolants
oil
filters
any gaskets.

and any details on how much lower the engine mount needs to be?????


is it not possible to just cut/drill the spotwelds off the body mount and move iot down???then u can just use standard mounts

this wouldnt b a problem as ill b doing a spot of welding round there anyway.........:thumb:

its a 2.0 8valve im fitting......and would much prefer going down the route of my own fabricating...and bilding as much as possible.....if i was just pointed in the right direction

aye .....well i have all that.......(courtesy of my breaking cavalier sri)

im more interested in the details regarding the moving of the engine mounts.....or indeed....ive just spotted the gsi radiator on the list????????


is that needed aswell????


these are some thing that i need 2 look in2 then................and i know i'll have to buy shafts............but the rest i have in various forms


so im glad of any help on the mount adjustment and radiator front

If you buy the CAMS mount kit, you wont need to move the mount on the car. Only bash the chassis leg for alternator clearance.

1.6 spec rad is deeper. Valeo rad from Halfords is a good one. 56quid.

if your buying an engine mount kit theres no need to lower the drivers side mount
