:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: god i hate these..
ahem. Cobra Tailored (apparently) subframes; this is how the situation looks at the mo;

Any one else had experience with these?? Front must bolt in as they are above; then rears must need drilling to floor to fit...?
Would you say the above is correct part ? lol

I wouldn't have thought drilling the floor would be as safe as mounting them to the original rails!

is it me or do they seam to sit pretty high ??

my mates subframes were drilled through the floor and passed an MOT no probs or you could weld an extra bar across to mount them to ?

they will fit well high,also you do need to drill the floor for the rears. i had them and sold them. what seats are you trying to fit?

They are too high but that's a personal preference thing.
Its ok to drill the floor IMO so long as all the seatbelts anchors are pulling off the proper mounting points on the car floor pan. The bolts are just to secure the seat in place and wont be the critical factor to hold you securely in an accident. If they are pulling off that frame at all then i would have thought it wouldn't be anywhere near strong enough:confused:
