weber from 1300to 1400

I got my weber 32/34 off a 1300SR and am fittin it to my 1400,its all fitted on a manual choke now, I started it up and it roared into lifer,with a strong note,then it missed a bit,then died and I cant get the car to start now :( I think the mixture may be really rich and flooding the engine b4 it gets the chance to spark,as it was real weak with the 2e3 on and my bro spent a while tweaking it up so could this cause the problem? and wot should I do about jets? please help,I want to take my car to donny!
