To wire up the remote locking on my alarm is a 5 pin c.locking motor needed?
I have the 3 pin items currently installed but they dont seem to work when on remote locking.
Need to get this done as I wanna delock asap.
Thanx :thumb:
You need two passenger door motors - The original drivers door item is only a sensor.

I have done that. I originally tried what I had in the car then remembered that the one in the drivers door didnt have a motor I could tell that when I removed it and manually put it in the locked and open position there was no motor noise. So I went into my garage and got a a spare locking motor from a Cavalier boot lock.
Tried that and still no go. Dunno what Im doing wrong. managed to get one side working but as the drivers door doesnt work and stays open it opens the pasenger.
The c/locking relay works properly from what I know.

By three wire motors do you mean the deadlock type (open, closed and closed+deadlock)? Have you wired the motor in the drivers door in parrallel with the passenger side and disconnectd the original drivers door switch from the C.L. unit? What outputs are coming from the alarm / central locking?
P.S. Signals to the C.L. are (from memory) brown/red and brown/white. By grounding 1 of these wires at a time it opens (or alternatively locks) the motors. The system won't work if one or other of these signals never moves from 0V (stuck switch or incorrect alarm signal).

To be honest dont know if its a dead lock system. The motors have 3 pin connectors on.
Do I need to wire the drivers door motor to the passenger door motor loom for it to activate the drivers one?
These are the wires that connect to the motors:
Red
Black/Red
Black/Yellow

Them colours don't seem to be vauxhall standard colours. I take it the box you have drawn is the controller. The Black/yellow and black/red wires you mention are the norm. In any case if passenger side is working fine then yes, wire up drivers side in parrallel with pass. side.

OK mate will do that asap.
The diagram shown is what the alarm module requires for remote central locking.
Hopefully this will solve the issue, otherwise I shall be back :D
Thanx mate
