5 door nova arches on a 3 door

was looking at a 5door nova the other day and i was just thinking what my 3door would look like with 5door arches, is this even posible and has it been done before? or is there a photoshop that has been done with this in? cheers tom :thumb:

There was one on ebay a while back that had it done.

you would need 2dr saloon rear pannels, same shape as 5dr

I've suggested it before. It might have got photoshopped.

With round headlamps it'd look mk1 Golf like.

there used to be a nova round here a few years back, it had the normal three door box archs with the round 5door bits on top blended in.

it looked cool as feck cos it was done really well, looked like a normal box arch but then you notice that it was flared in a 'round arch stylee' lol

subtle and pretty cool.

if you mean taking off the box archs and putting round ones on, dont bother, it will look pap:thumb:

I think it could look good. Depends how good the work is, some little 13'' rims etc.

I'm a big fan of the round arches, I think I'm the only person who prefers them to the hatch arches (awaits "but the box arches are the iconic nova shape" flaming lol) and thats one reason why I prefer the saloons to the hatchbacks.

I've always thought it could look pretty cool, you'd have to fit the whole 3dr Saloon 1/4 tho for it to look right, it'd look balls with the boxy bit still on then a round arch underneath it.
PhotoShop can't be that hard, just find a pic of a Saloon and chop the back end off !!

the round bits werent so wide though, they were more subtle, and the car was painted a dark blue so it was even harder to notice

that does actually look alright, if you get bored again anytime soon do me a favour and lose the two inside lights leaving just the outside ones think that could look cool :thumb:

and if your really really bored, you can shop round golf lights onto a vw corrado for me as im thinking of my next car :D

I like it. The only thing i could say is, it looks like your using the eraser tool around the whole car?? If you are use the crop tool to make an outline af it and copy it. Take alot less time and gives a sharper image

Heres the new corsa vxr i did one of, just subtle thing, different wheels, grill foglights, intercooler. Didnt wanna go ott like the one in tv this month

the more i stare at the 5 door arches, the more they start to grow on me. i hated them before

Hmm... I still maintain if you're going to put the 5dr arches on you need to fit a whole 2dr saloon rear panel

Basically its like wanting to have mk1 Golf GTI styling. Not on top of the Novas Quattro arches.
