.... My little 1.2l beast was getting a bit louder over the last few days, sounded like I had a nice paint tin on the end.
Thought I would have a look today to see if I could see the problem and look what I found......

bit of exhaust paste and a couple of cable ties should fix that:D

I agree, it doesn't look 18 years old, the one on my Monz was worse than that!
Either get it welded or get a new one fitted!

Doubt the back box is 18yrs old somehow. Indeed, they last about 5 years max.
Thats probably the 3rd/4th replacement its had ;)
Easy cheap fix anyway :)

Gotcha.
Every Nova I've ever bought (8) has had rumbling wheel bearings.
