No spark

Hi just changed gear box in m8s nova its got a 1.8 8v in it out of a cav . since changein it theres no spark comin from the coil .Weve changed coil no luck put 2.0l 8v lume on no spark any ideas lads and lasses

Earth straps/leads would be my guess.

Strap from gearbox to wing?

well thats all it can be if youve literally only just changed the gearbox

Theres either a strap from box to chassis.
Or a thick earth from the battery neg terminal to the starter motor bolt.

try all off that and we still got no spark bin tho by someone who looked at it that its the crank is this true

sorry about that ha ha. we tryed the earth strap thats on fine and theres still no spark .someones lookin at it to day and sed its the crank . could that be it

possibly, it could be the sensor, and possibly the knock sensor, th then toey both go at the same time, or if one goes the other will! :D

the knock sensor was f*cked and it has bin changed
