tapping on engine

tapping on engine if its cammed dos it make a tapping noice and run abit slugish

Are you sure the alt belt is taught? Or theres nothing rubbing or touching?

Cams dont make any extra noise unless maybe a race job on solid lifters. (doubt it)

Could be the bottom end knocking...
