Anybody been to see it? Opinions?

I thought it was poop tbh, so much potential but spooged away on a crappy and meandering storyline that has no real direction lol

From someones point of veiw that didn't grow up loving the Transformers, I thought it was an amazing film. Great visuals, the guy in it is a good actor for once. And the storyline was ok. But like Jack said, if you love Transformers you'll probably be dissapointed, whereas I was suprised by how much I liked it. :thumb:

Not been yet, ment to be going this evening, i cant even get hyped from the videos on the net cus the quality sucks, it will prob be a let down.

as jack said the romance story twisted in with it is a bit pointless but still made me laugh , there are a few funny comments throughout which make you chuckle

I personally think it is worth seeing. If not for the plot, the visuals. I think it's very well made.

The previews were this weekend just gone, its "out" next weekend. I didnt watch transformers as a kid, but loved the film.

I personally think it is worth seeing. If not for the plot, the visuals. I think it's very well made.
I wouldn't say it was well made, even visually - some of the fight scenes do the whole SHAKEY CAMERA MAN thing so you can't see wtf is going on, but aside from that its very slick. Barricade transforming and chasing Sam is sweet :cool:

Depends on the condition, but yes, they will be worth something to some one.

Surely you've gotta leave your brain at home with this one. Its giant transforming robots, not Shindlers list, lol. I was a huge fan when I was a kid and will go and see the film when it's out again. Going by the trailers it looks really impressive.

I've read some reviews from the die-hard fans from the states and most really enjoyed the film, so I really hope I'm not dissapointed. I don't care about dodgy parts of the script as long as I enjoy the majority of the film :)

Went to see it last night thought it was bloody amazing, was so excited all the way through.
