help needed fitting clocks please

I have recently bought a set of mk1 sr clocks for my mk2 nova 1.4i. Iv managed to get them in but im having problems getting the rev counter to work and also the fuel gauge. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

if the fuel gauage was working on the old clocks, could be a faulty gauage on the new ones.

With regards to the rev counter you need to run a wire from the -ve of the coil to the green wire on the back of the clocks.

The only spare wire on the clocks is a blue and yellow. I have 2 wires off my coil black and green do I run it from there. Regards

IIRC the 1.2i/1.4i loom has the wire running from the coil to the plug, but its not connected, so you need to get the loomp plug from the SR clocks and then join them colour for colour....

So are the colours the same on the mk1 loom plug. Regards
