Went to Broadlands today for Victory Wheelers Rod & Custom Car Event. We met up with Jason and Sam had a little cruise round. The sound was by far the best thing ever, just these old lazy V8 bumbling about all over the place and some that were 'mildly tuned' being revved to there limiters, damn sexual. Heres some pics for you's.

see - to me those are "proper" modified cars - hot rods are something special.

I absolutely love them!

Those bikes are fab too!

The yanks and our european brothers always seem to go that extra inch when it comes to modifying there cars, something the UK doesnt seem to have a grasp of yet. Some truely awsome metal there.

Don't forget that you can largely do as you please in the states for modding. Emissions, whats that? etc.

I recognise a few from shows this way which my dad has put his 1950 Chrysler into - the Yank scene is fairly tight, eveyone knows everyone and they do go distance!
