Just been going thought the box of bits I got with/pulled off my engine and I don't have a clue what some of them are lol

10 points to who can identify them and tell me if I need them on my engine now it will be running carbs

Ash, add a pic of that valve thingy too ;) id like to know if that is the Idle Control Valve lol

Top one is a thermostat housing? as i can see a temp sender!
Bottom one i think might be and Idle Contral Valve, as said.

3. coasting air control valve (leans of mixture on let off)
2.icv
1. thermostat that i belive ifirc bolts to the inlet manifold not the block

and at a guess these bits are for a 16se (gte engine)

Pic 2 is the idle control valve then? So thats what they look like lmao!

1 aint the thermostat, thats in the side of the head.

2/3 Are as Ste said.

looking at the green shizle i'd say it was in the water pipeline, and that does look like a temp sensor :confused:

It is a coolant gallery, and that is the temp sender.
But it aint the thermostat.

Now another one, I was told these pistons were for a 1.6 16v corsa engine, may even be Mahle replacements I can't remember. Burgo recons there not, so I don't know. help
