hi, just wondering if anyone has done what i'm trying to do and move to solid lifters instead of hydraulic?? i have a 308 degree cam and double valve springs but i'm having trouble as the retainers are hitting the tops of the stem seals... has anyone out there done this mod?? its 1.6 8 v head... i know i need to machine the tops of the guides etc etc, but just wondered if anyone had delved down this route before with an 8v?
