What kind of Cam for 1.3 sr???

Hi what is the best cam for my 1.3 sr, got full heat wrapped manifold and exhaust system on it but wanting to do some other things for bit more performance??

How long is a peice of string? It largely depends on what carb you'll be using aswell. If you'll be using a weber 32/34 or twin 40's then a Kent AST2 can give good results.

could use a gsi cam etc, ive heard that the older 1.4 cams were good

th best standard nova cam is the 1400 sr one, however its probably not worth the hassle finding one fitting it, just go for a kent ast 2/piper 285. unless your going balls out in which case get a piper 300/kents equivalent

A gsi/sr cam wont fit a 1300 dizzy.

Id go for something like a 290 deg aftermarket. The carb will need tweaking afterwards tho.
