right then, soon'ish i will be putting an XE in my little 1.2 carb shell. I think its a bit of a big job for me so was wondering if anyone that had done it before would do mine, and i dont want to pay how much my local garage is asking.

it needs stitch welding aswell as dropping the lump in and wiring

anyone interested?

you best get out there now and start to clean the engine bay up ready to weld as can take age's and reveal hole's.Failing that have fun and get some pics up once sorted.

Seam is just that, a continuous seam, its strong but has no "give" which is needed to absorb an impact.

Stitch is a stitch,Lol. i.e. a weld, then 1/2" gap, then another weld. As in ernies pics above.

i can transport the car yes as it is driveable. i dont quite know how cheap, cheap is right now because i will be aiming the conversion for october so i will have to see how much i can stash before then,

i would probably consider southend if it was the right price

:gay: It would seem, that I am seen by some on here to be a corporation, trader etc, so if I'm going to be a company, I may as well be a company that does what it says on the tin, hence Bumshunters.
